Welcome to Our Library
Book Fair Starts Monday, March 20th!
Lots of great reading materials, crafts, and more!
Open late during Parent-Teacher interviews on the 23rd.
Parents are welcome to drop in anytime throughout the week!
Bookfair Notices with a coupon for parents to sign will be sent home with students in grades 5-6. This coupon, when signed, enters your child to win $25 worth of material from the book fair, as well as $25 for their teacher to spend also! Any grade 7's and 8's who wish to participate in the contest can pick up a notice/coupon in the library from Ms. Corr.
During the Happy Camper Book Fair, the Critter Club will be hosting another guessing contest using our theme of S'mores!
Students can purchase a guess for 25 cents and the person who guesses closest to (without going over) the total number of teddy graham crackers, mini marshmallows and milk chocolate chips wins the bear stuffy and the goodies in the jar!
See you there!

Students are welcome to use the new charging station in the library for their phones and devices :)
Hours of Operation: 8:15-3:45 Mon.-Fri.
Students can access the library before school, at recesses and after school.
Books are signed out for 2 weeks and can be renewed as needed. There is no limit (within reason) to the number of books that may be signed out, but students know that as soon as they have an overdue book, no more books may be borrowed until the overdue book is returned. If a student is chronic with overdues, their account may be limited to only one book at a time.
The NHS library houses almost 10,000 in titles.
Fiction Books of every genre: Novels, Picture Books, Science Fiction, Humor, Historical Fiction, Easy Reading, Manga, Graphic Novels and much more!
Non-fiction encompasses not only curriculum related materials but also a large selection of special interest such as: Sports, Drawing, Cars, Hunting, Guinness World Records, Ghost Stories, Pets, Cooking, and so much more!
The Library is the Hub of the school! It houses 20 computers as well the library collection. Classes are often taught within the library and we have a smart board and a giant screen with projector to fit teacher's needs. On a cold winter's day, students are welcomed to the library for a video on the big screen. As dynamic as the library can be, it is also a respite for those looking for a quiet place to read, study, work on homework or simply collect their thoughts. It houses a cozy reading nook for story telling and library classes. Our castle decor reflects the team spirit of the Nelson Heights Knights!
We are all Knights on a Reading Quest!
